This project has a total investment of VND450.9 billion, including construction of the second circuit of 107.98 km long in total and construction of one 220 kV feeder at the 220 kV Dong Hoi substation. The transmission line will go through Dong Hoi city, Quang Ninh and Le Thuy districts of Quang Binh province, Vinh Linh, Gio Linh, Cam Lo, Trieu Phong districts and Dong Ha city of Quang Tri province.
Project of Second Circuit on 220 kV Dong Ha-Hue Transmission Line is invested and constructed with the target of enhancing local power supply for Hue, Quang Tri and neighboring areas, creating 220 kV double circuit transmission line along the Central Coast linking the entire central provinces from Vung Ang Thermal Power Center (Ha Tinh province) to Southern Central (Thap Cham – Ninh Thuan province) in order to improve transmission capacity from Northern to Central Vietnam.
This project has total investment of VND 598.4 billion, including construction of the 220kV double circuit transmission line of 78.2 km long, in total, from 220 kV Dong Ha substation to the 220 kV Hue substation. This 220 kV Dong Ha- Hue second circuit line is constructed in the areas of Trieu Phong, Hai Lang districts and Quang Tri town of Quang Tri province and Phong Dien district, Huong Tra town, Huong Thuy town and Hue city of Thua Thien Hue province.
These two projects are managed by Central Power Project Management Board (CPMB) under the National Power Transmission Corporation. Upon completion, these projects will timely satisfy increasing load demand and improve local power supply for Hue, Quang Tri and the surrounding areas.
