Mr. Dinh The Phuc – Deputy Director of ERAV spoke at the Meeting
At the Meeting, Mr. Dinh The Phuc – Deputy Director of ERAV (MOIT) said, in execution of Decision No. 11/QD-TTg dated April 11, 2017 issued by the Prime Minister on incentive policies for solar power project development, ERAV in collaboration with the General Department of Energy have developed and completed regulations, including technical standards and draft of power purchase agreement for rooftop solar projects, etc.
“Under the finance of the EU Energy Initiative Partnership Dialogue Facility (EUEI PDF), ERAV and its consultants have jointly performed a Technical Assistance project on bidirectional (two – way) electric meters for rooftop solar energy development; considered and proposed technical codes and standards suitable for the existing power grid in Vietnam, etc.”, said Mr. Phuc.
At the Meeting, representatives from EUEI PDF presented issues relevant to net metering policy for solar power projects such as: policy related challenges; billing and charging scheme; legal and technical regulations; experiences from other countries in the world like China, Germany, the USA, etc.
