In first 2 months of 2018, commercial power  output grows by more than 12%

According to the EVN’s Business Department, the commercial power output in the first two months of 2018 is estimated at 28.11 billion kWh, increasing by 12.02% over the same period of 2017.

EVN has fully supplied power with high reliability in first 2 months of 2018

In particular, the growth of Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC) reached 16.26% - the highest growth rate within the Group. Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVNHCMC) had the lowest growth rate with 7.51%.

With respect of load component, in the first 2 months of 2018, power supplied for industry accounted for 54.5% of the total output; consumption management accounted for 32.2%; trade, hotels - restaurants accounted for 5.4%; agriculture accounted for 3.3% and other demands accounted for 4.6%.

For February 2018 alone, the total commercial power output of the Group was estimated at 13.13 billion kWh, increasing by 8.84% over the same period of 2017. The Group has ensured power supply for socio-economic development as well as activities during the Lunar New Year.

EVN also continues to improve the quality of electricity services and the power supply reliability. Accordingly, in the first two months of 2018, the SAIDI index (average total time of outage per customer) of the Group reaches 98.8 minutes, decreasing by 17.28% compared to the same period of 2017.
