Accordingly, the Deputy Prime Minister agreed with the proposal by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in transferring the responsibility of upgrading capacity for the 500/220 kV Vung Ang substation from the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PVN) to the Vietnam Electricity (EVN) after taking over the 500 kV Vung Ang switchyard from PVN.
It is known that the switchyard was invested by PVN to receive power from Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant. The work is constructed on an area of nearly 12.8 ha located in Ky Loi commune, Ky Anh district, Ha Tinh province.
This is a "turnkey project" between PVN and EVN with the consortium of 100% of Vietnamese contractors.
