Chairman of EVN's Board of Directors welcomes and works with the Global Managing Director of Roland Berger

On December 16, in Hanoi, Mr. Duong Quang Thanh - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Electricity (EVN) welcomed and worked with Mr. Denis Depoux – Global Managing Director of Roland Berger.

Vietnam is on the road to the energy transition, taking part in the realization of the net-zero emission goal by 2050. Besides, in the context of the ongoing Industry 4.0, EVN has been promoting digital transformation too, with the aim of becoming a digital enterprise. According to the Chairman of EVN's Board of Directors, these topics of concern have opened up potential and opportunities for cooperation between EVN and Roland Berger. EVN wishes to learn from the experiences of Germany in particular and Europe in general in the fields of energy transition, transmission grid capacity development, digital transformation, corporate governance optimization, power system operation; human resource training, etc.

At the meeting, Mr. Denis Depour shared many experiences about the net-zero roadmap, digital transformation in energy enterprises, development/restructuring strategies of the energy industry, etc.
