According to Mr. Duong Quang Thanh – President of EVN’s Member Council (MC), EVN is ranked the second biggest business in Vietnam. The electricity system also has risen up to the third rank in scale in the Southeast Asia and to the thirty-fourth rank in the world, ensured the power supply with services of better quality power for 26 million customers. Particularly, in the past few years, EVN has focused mightily on investment and applied the information technology in enterprise management, production and business fields as well as the innovation of customer services.
The leaders of EVN believe that VNPT – one of the largest enterprises of telecommunication and information technology in Vietnam currently – would be a supplier of telecommunication and information technology being capable of bringing benefits of stability, reliability, safety and long-term period and targeting to the reasonable prices of services for EVN.

According to Mr. Tran Manh Hung, applying science and technology as well as IT for modernization and digitalization of the Power sector not only meets the realistic requirements and sustainable developing strategy of EVN, but also contributes to promoting the development of the country’s economy. “VNPT identifies that there are many fields that we can cooperate with EVN,” confirmed Mr. Tran Manh Hung.
EVN and VNPT committing to strengthen cooperation as reliable partners in operating and developing process
Under the signed content, two Groups assured to be the strategic and reliable partners in operating and trading process for the forthcoming time; promoting advantages and improving efficiency in the operation and business fields to make it appropriate with the strategy of each party.
EVN and VNPT also committed to dedicate their best conditions to serve the operating purpose of each party; agreed on the priority given to products and services and maximally serving each party’s activities in line with the operational charter, business strategy and plan of each Group in order to maximize the potential, create business efficiency, improve the position and competitive strength of each party.
Based on law regulations, financial capacity and the advantages of each party, EVN and VNPT will together promote activities of cooperation, services provision and business association in order to support each other in expanding and developing operation and business activities for maximally enhancing potentials of each party.
Additionally, cooperation activities between EVN and VNPT also obey the current laws and do not conflict with and adversely influence any Agreements that each Group has signed with other partners.
