EVN is the main sponsor for the construction of Kindergarten classrooms for My Tan commune (Thanh Hoa)

On 21 December 2020, the People's Committee of Ngoc Lac district (Thanh Hoa province) in collaboration with Vietnam Electricity (EVN) and Vingroup Group organized the "Groundbreaking Ceremony of Kindergarten Classrooms in My Tan Commune" (district Ngoc Lac). This project is invested with a total of VND 7 billion, of which EVN sponsors VND 3 billion.

For the project of My Tan Commune Kindergarten, the construction scale includes: classroom, clubhouse, multi-purpose house and associated auxiliary works. The total investment is over VND 7 billion, of which EVN sponsors VND 3 billion and Vingroup Group sponsors VND 2 billion. These are the 2 main sponsors of the project. The project is expected to be completed and put into operation in the second quarter of 2021.

Speaking at the ceremony, EVN's Chairman of the Board of Members - Mr. Duong Quang Thanh said that besides the political task to meet adequate power capacity for the country's socio-economic development, successfully complete the goal of full electrification, the Group has well implemented the guidelines and policies of the Party and the Government on social security work in many localities across the country, especially localities facing natural disasters, ethnic minority areas, extremely difficult areas, mountainous areas, borders and islands. As for Thanh Hoa province, with the determined participation of the Group and the Party committees, local authorities, now 100% of communes, wards and townships have access to the national grid, 99.4% of households and 99.29% of rural households are supplied power .

Electricity of Vietnam hopes that after the kindergarten is completed and put into use, it will contribute to reducing difficulties in teaching and learning for teachers and students in extremely difficult communes like My Tan.
