At the same time, EVNCPC also donated VND 50 million to the Hospital’s Charity kitchen.
This is an activity under the EVNCPC’s program of social security activities for the sake of community deployed in 2018.
On the occasion of 43rd anniversary of Liberation of the South and National Reunification (30 April 2018), EVNCPC cooperated with Nhan Dan Newspaper to organize giving 40 gifts (VND 5 million/gift) to policy households, people with meritorious services to the revolution in Quang Tri Province; donating VND 60 million to embellish Truong Son National Martyr’s Cemetery, Road 9 National Martyr’s Cemetery, Trieu Phong Cemetery and Special National Monument of Quang Tri Citadel.
It is known that, annually, EVNCPC extracts about VND 7 billion from its welfare fund and the contribution from staffs and employees to community-based social security programs, demonstrating responsibility of the enterprise in taking care of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, policy beneficiaries, creating livelihoods for families in difficult circumstances, poor households, donating people in the Central region affected by floods and storms, etc. Thereby, the enterprise together with society has made meaningful contributions to building up a better life for people under unfortunate circumstances in the community.
