When this roof-top solar power system is put into use, the Center will save nearly 400 kWh/month, equivalent to 11.5 million VND/year. Thereby, helping the Center have more budget to invest in, improve teaching facilities and take care of the children.
At the ceremony, Tan Binh Power Company and SolarBK presented 160 gifts and 8 scholarships of "Million hearts for community" to the students of the Tan Binh Center for Supporting the Developing Inclusive Education.
This is an activity under the solar power development cooperation program between Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation and suppliers, including SolarBK to propagate and encourage people and businesses to pay attention to using solar power, realizing the policy on "Joining hands to use green energy" of Ho Chi Minh City and the whole country.
In 2020, the Corporation will coordinate with suppliers to install 9 RSP systems for children's homes in District 4, Ddistricts of Thu Duc, Phu Nhuan, Cu Chi, Hoc Mon, Nha Be, Binh Chanh. Center for Children's activities in Binh Khanh, Can Gio district and Tho Chau commune kindergarten (Phu Quoc district - Kien Giang province), with a total installed capacity of 28.6kWp, worth nearly VND 700 million.
