EVNHCMC reaches out to become a digital enterprise

Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVNHCMC) is the first state-owned enterprise certified to form a digital enterprise; The economic and technical indicators of electricity supply continue to perform very well and approach advanced countries in the world. Those are some outstanding pieces of information from EVNHCMC's Conference to summarize the work in 2022 and deploy the tasks in 2023, on 30 December 2022.

Targets were met and exceeded the schedule

Some specific results such as Realized commercial electricity reached over 27 billion kWh, an increase of 11.03% compared to 2021, and reached 106.16% of the plan assigned by EVN. Power loss reached 2.61%, 0.51% lower than in 2021 (3.12%) and 0.69% lower than the plan assigned by EVN. The average outage time per customer/year (SAIDI) is about 35 minutes, much better than planned (73 minutes). Labor productivity reached 4.9 million kWh/worker (plan 4.53 million kWh/worker); 100% customer service was performed in the digital environment.

EVNHCMC has completed the system of measuring, collecting, and analyzing electricity using smart meters (AMR) with the replacement of most of the electronic meters with a remote data collection function, helping Customers can monitor power quality and daily electricity consumption through the Customer Service App.

Regarding digital transformation, EVNHCMC has become the first state-owned enterprise to be certified to form a digital enterprise.

Construction investment is focused on operating according to the digital transformation model and has made positive changes. Typically, during the year, EVNHCMC energized the key project of Tan Cang 220kV substation; started the underground construction in Thanh An island commune, Can Gio district, making Thanh An the first island commune in the country to have the power grid underground.

Training and emulation movement continued to have strong development. During the year, EVNHCMC has 25 more engineers recognized as ASEAN Engineers, bringing the total number of ASEAN engineers of EVNHCMC to 212 people, accounting for 40.3% of the number of ASEAN engineers in the country.
