Mr. Tran Dinh Nhan – President and CEO of Vietnam Electricity worked with Mr. Riki Kojima - Deputy CEO of TEPCO Holdings (Japan)
Currently, EVN and TEPCO Holdings have been discussing with each other to prepare for signing a memorandum of understanding which will serve as a legal basis for the parties to carry out cooperation activities in the near future in such areas as business, customer service, green energy development, application of decarbonization technologies, etc.
At the meeting, Mr. Tran Dinh Nhan – EVN’s President and CEO said that Vietnam Electricity wishes to learn from Japanese partners’ experiences in the development of renewable energy, offshore wind power and a competitive electricity market.
EVN will consider a program to exchange management experiences and learn about new technology applications in the energy transition process in Japan in the coming time.

According to Mr. Riki Kojima - Deputy CEO of TEPCO Holdings, TEPCO Holdings and its member companies not only invest in, manage and operate projects in Japan but also develop projects in nearly 30 other countries. In Vietnam, a number of projects have been and are being invested in by TEPCO Holdings’ member companies such as Phu My 2-2 BOT Thermal Power Plant in Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Coc San Hydropower Plant in Lao Cai, Deep C Industrial Park in Hai Phong, North Hanoi smart city project, etc.
