Mr. Keo Rottanak - General Director of EDC warmly welcomed the delegation of Vietnam Electricity and expressed his joy about the good cooperation relationship between EVN and EDC in the past time.
Over the years, EVN and EDC have exchanged energy through several connection points in the border area. EVN is still supplying electricity to the capital Phnom Penh under power purchase agreements between EVN and EDC, through medium voltage lines (35kV, 22kV) along the Vietnam-Cambodia border and Chau Doc - Ta Keo 220kV high-voltage transmission line (from Chau Doc 220kV substation in An Giang province, Vietnam, to Ta Keo 220kV substation on the Cambodian side). At the same time, some units in EVN have also cooperated with the Cambodian Power sector in power project investing; coordinated testing and operation of generator sets.
Mr. Keo Rottanak – General Director of EDC expressed his wish to continue to cooperate with EVN in connecting the power grid and supplying electricity; at the same time, strengthening the expertise and techniques exchange between officials and employees of the two sides. EDC leaders also want to learn from EVN in renewable power source development.
