Ms. Ho Thu Uyen
Reporter: Does the power quality provided by EVN meet the strict requirements of Intel, Dear Madam?
Ms. Ho Thu Uyen: Operating in high technology industry, Intel’s products are microprocessors which require very high accuracy, so we always give top priority to power quality and supply stability.
When we chose to invest in Vietnam, an adequate power supply with good quality is one of the commitments made by the Vietnamese Government to Intel.
We highly regard the public-private partnership among the Government, Vietnamese Power sector and foreign businesses.
Particularly, a special working team has been established in combination between Ho Chi Minh city Power Corporation (EVNHCMC) and Intel, organizing monthly meetings in order to assess the power source and quality; as well as work out the best solution to solving problems and difficulties, if any.
Intel’s engineers are always side by side with their peers in EVNHCMC to draw out the most effective solution in the power supply process. The relationship between Intel and EVNHCMC is not simply a seller-purchaser one but we are trustful partners, co-workers and companions.
Reporter: Does Intel prepare further plans to invest and expand its operation in Vietnam in the coming period, Dear Madam?
Ms. Ho Thu Uyen: After over 7 years of operating in Vietnam, currently, Intel’s projects have been in highly positive development. The power quality and supply stability is one of the crucial factors for Intel to attain this achievement.
To further invest in Vietnam is the long-term strategy of Intel Group. Currently, Intel’s plant in Vietnam has been properly developing and we have continued promoting our production by recruiting more staff and putting into production new product lines with higher and more complex technological content.
Reporter: Thank you very much!
