EVN’s Vice President Ngo Son Hai worked with Mr. Lim Da Doo – Vice President of KOEN
At the meeting, the two leaders exchanged views on the development orientation of businesses, as well as opportunities for cooperation in the energy market in Vietnam.
Over the past years, KOEN has been involved in consulting and execution of a number of thermal power projects in Vietnam and in many countries around the world. KOEN wishes to continue to cooperate with and support EVN in operating and improving the efficiency of coal fired thermal power plants.
EVN’s Vice President Ngo Son Hai highly appreciated experiences of KOEN and confirmed that EVN is ready to expand bilateral cooperation to develop the Vietnam's power industry in a sustainable manner.
On October 26, 2017 the delegation of Korea South - East Power Company had face to face meetings with some power plants under EVN and the Power Generation Corporation 1.

KOEN presented a preliminary assessment of actual operation of Nghi Son 1 Thermal Power Plant and proposed some solutions to improve the operation and performance of the plant.
This was an opportunity for the two parties to exchange their professional experiences and open opportunities for cooperation in the coming time.
