Mr. Tran Xuan Bay is now old, weak and living alone. For many years, he has lived on subsidy for the poor and his life faces many difficulties.
Mong Duong Thermal Power Company has deducted from the Company’s Social Security Fund at an amount of more than VND 115 million to build a solid 4-level house for Mr. Bay. The house construction was started in July 2019 and completed at the end of August 2019.
On this occasion, representatives of local authorities, organizations and Mong Duong Thermal Power Company presented Mr. Bay with many useful items such as tables, chairs, beds, fans, gas stoves, etc., to support Mr. Bay quickly settled down in his new home.
Mr. Nguyen Tien Thanh – Director of Mong Duong Thermal Power Company said that this is the kind-heartedness of all Company’s employees to express the spirit of solidarity and mutual affection, “the leaves protect tattered ones”, share and help poor people facing difficulties.
Over the years, in addition to efforts in completing production and business tasks, contributing to supply sufficient power for socio-economic activities, the Company has frequently cooperated with localities to implement many social welfare activities for development of community such as: providing scholarships for poor students but overcome difficulties and study well, giving saving books to poor people, supporting in repairing the local cultural houses.
