The signing ceremony was part of the Vietnam - Denmark Sustainable Energy Summit Conference with the witness of the Crown Prince of Denmark Frederik and the Princess, the Danish Minister of Climate and Energy, and leaders of the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Accordingly, PECC2 and Hyme Energy will work together to develop and build energy storage projects in Vietnam, towards the target of deploying at least 2GWh of storage capacity by 2030 and further targets in the future.

At the signing ceremony, Crown Prince Frederik affirmed that Vietnam and Denmark have the same direction of developing renewable energy. Through cooperation with Vietnamese partners in general and PECC2 in particular, Vietnam and Denmark can find common solutions to bring benefits and prosperity to both countries.

Mr. Nguyen Chon Hung - Chairman of the Board of Directors of PECC2 affirmed that storage technologies play a key role in developing the company's capacity in energy storage services. Mr. Nguyen Chon Hung expressed his hope that through this cooperation agreement, PECC2 can aim to pioneer thermal energy storage in Vietnam with Hyme Energy's promising technology platform.
Mr. Ask Emil Løvschall-Jensen, CEO of Hyme Energy, said that PECC2 was a strategic and experienced partner in the field of thermal power in Vietnam. Mr. Ask Emil Løvschall-Jensen also stated that Hyme Energy considered the cooperation between the two companies as a favorable first step so that the two companies can jointly study and develop potential projects.
