The implementation of the underground cable projects in Ho Chi Minh city will contribute to improving urban landscape and enhancing quality and stability of the power grid to serve people’s lives.
EVNHCMC is striving to complete the renovation and implementation of the underground power lines in the main uptown streets, inter-district roads and especially complete the underground power lines in all officially-named streets in the center of District 1 and District 3 by the year 2020.

- 60 projects, of which 10 projects implemented in synchronization with the key transport projects in the city.
- Total length: 287 km of medium voltage lines, 489 km of low voltage lines;
- Areas: from District 1 to District 6, District10, District 11, Phu Nhuan, Binh Thanh, Tan Binh, Tan Phu, and Go Vap districts.
