Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son, Trade Union's Chairman of Son La Hydropower Company, representing to attend the ceremony of house inauguration and handover to the poor veterans in Khoong To village, Song Ma district.
Son La Hydropower Company donated VND 40 million to each veteran with extremely difficult background. Most of them are veterans living in Muong La, Quynh Nhai and Thuan Chau districts (belonging to the reservoir area of Son La Hydropower Plant).
This activity shows the cooperation and contribution of the Company in the "Elimination of dilapidated houses for poor veterans" launched by the Son La Province Veterans' Association.
"Our company always pays attention to and actively participates in social security work in the locality. It is considered the responsibility of our company," said Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son, Trade Union’s Chairman of Son La Hydropower Company.
According to the Son La Province Veterans' Association, there are still 207 members (born in 1969 backwards) with extremely difficult background, living in dilapidated and temporary houses. The Association aims to "eliminate" all dilapidated houses for all members in this tenure (2017 - 2022).
