Mr. Tran Anh Cung is one of 600 poor patients with eye diseases in Thai Binh, Nam Dinh and Hai Duong provinces benefiting from the series of charity eye surgery program “Vietnamese beliefs” which has been coordinated for implementation by EVN and Vietnamese Heart Foundation from May 2019, in which EVN is the main sponsor.

Mr. Trinh Mai Phuong - Head of Communication Department (EVN) said that over the past years, EVN has always focused on and well implemented the work of social security, showing the responsibility of the corporation to the community. “The treatment and bringing light to patients is also associated with EVN’s image and message as “Lighting up beliefs”. Every patient regains the light, it is the way we are spreading the belief and hope for the community”.
Representatives of EVN, Vietnamese Heart Foundation, Kinh Mon District Health Center and some patients will receive free eye surgery to have lens replaced
The charity eye surgery program “Vietnamese beliefs” organized by Vietnam Electricity and Vietnamese Heart Foundation - Vietnam Television is a social security program which is great significance, contributing to the accomplishment of the targets in the National Strategy on Anti-blindness to 2020 and vision to 2030.
