The 4th Vietnam-US Energy Security Dialogue
On the first day of the Dialogue, the representative of Dominion Energy - the first company to deploy the offshore wind power project - shared with the Vietnamese Delegation important information about the offshore wind farm deploying experience. On the second day of the Dialogue, the two sides' representatives presented key issues in bilateral energy cooperation including clean power production, power market development, energy saving and efficiency, energy transmission and storage, the role of liquefied natural gas and urgent plans to accelerate the energy transition to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.

In addition, the two sides discussed in detail future clean energy technologies such as offshore wind power, hydrogen, storage batteries and nuclear energy towards the global goal of the energy transition.
In addition, the United States Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) announced technical assistance to the Vietnam National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) to promote the deployment of smart grid technologies according to the IT Roadmap 2.0 of Vietnam Electricity. EVNNPT has selected Actionable Strategies LLC to deploy this technical support.
