The ceremony of Principle Agreement granting is part of the Quang Binh Investment Promotion Conference of 2018 on the same day.
The Project of Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant is invested by EVN with a total post-tax investment of VND 42,022 billion. The loan needed for the Project at VND 27,100 billion is arranged by Vietcombank.
This is the first project on power source of EVN with 100% loan amount to be arranged by domestic credit institutions and without guarantee from the Government.
The granting Ceremony at the Conference confirmed the interest and willingness to accompany the local socio-economic development of both sides.
Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant Project is designed with a total capacity of 1,200MW, located within Quang Trach Power Center (2,400MW), in Vinh Son Village, Quang Dong Commune, Quang Trach District, Quang Binh Province. The plant is expected to supply about 7.8 billion kWh/year for the national power system and contribute to the socio-economic development of Quang Binh Province.
