Da Nhim expansion project will change operation regime from base load to intermediate and peak load.
Powerhouse expansion capacity will be connected to 220kV bus bars of existing Da Nhim substation and dispatched to 220kV Nha Trang, Di Linh, Duc Trong, Thap Cham grids and other 110kV substations in the area.
The project will add nearly 100mil. kWh per annum for peak demand, as well as increase water to Ninh Thuan province in dry seasons, and help socio-economic and rural development of local communities.

- Unit Testing: 1st quarter 2018
- Commercial commisioning: 2nd quarter 2018
