The delegation included Mr. Do Duc Hung, President of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union; representatives from EVN's professional departments; the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union; Power Project Management Board No. 3 (EVNPMB3); Tri An Hydropower Company; Ialy Hydropower Company; consulting firms; contractors; and other relevant stakeholders.

Delegation receives progress report from EVNPMB3 on construction of Hieu Liem Bridge in Tri An Commune, Dong Nai Province, a key component supporting transportation of oversized and overweight equipment for project.

Delegation also inspects powerhouse construction site. To date, excavation of powerhouse foundation has reached approximately 99.3% completion.

Construction of intake cofferdam was completed, accepted, and put into operation on 2 April 2026, while excavation of intake structure has reached 94.4% completion.

Tri An Hydropower Plant Expansion Project is one of EVN's three key investment projects selected under 2026 construction acceleration campaign jointly launched by Vietnam General Confederation of Labour and President and CEO of EVN. During the visit, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, President and CEO of EVN, and Mr. Do Duc Hung, President of Vietnam Electricity Trade Union, meet with project personnel and present gifts to encourage contractors and construction teams.

Following the site inspection and presentation of appreciation gifts, the delegation held a working session with EVNPMB3 and the contractors at the project management office. Further updates on the meeting will be published on the EVN website.
