On September 8 and 9, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union organization of Vietnam Electricity (EVN), in coordination with the Youth Union organizations of Son La Hydropower Company and Huoi Quang – Ban Chat Hydropower Company, organized the “Supporting Students to School” program for the 2026–2027 school year, benefiting preschool students in Muong Kim and Nam Hang communes, Lai Chau province.

The program was implemented at Ta Hua Preschool in Muong Kim Commune and Song Da Preschool in Nam Hang Commune. These are particularly disadvantaged areas, where the majority of students are children of H’Mong, Kho Mu and other ethnic minority communities. The total funding for the program was VND 225 million, sourced from contributions raised through the “Supporting Students to School 2026” Pickleball Tournament organized by the EVN Youth Union in August 2026, together with contributions from employees of the two hydropower companies. This valuable support provides encouragement, bringing greater joy and motivation to teachers and students in Lai Chau province on their journey to school.
