As soon as weather conditions permitted, Lai Chau Power Company instructed Than Uyen Power Branch to activate its natural disaster response plan, mobilizing personnel, vehicles, materials, and equipment to access the affected sites. As of July 18, the company had deployed a total of 86 personnel to carry out restoration work.

The workforce was organized into multiple teams operating simultaneously at damaged locations. Their tasks included replacing collapsed utility poles, restringing and reconnecting conductors, installing electrical equipment, clearing vegetation, and removing mud, debris, and other obstructions from power line corridors.

Work crews have been operating day and night, taking advantage of every opportunity when weather and transportation conditions allow access to damaged sites. By the end of July 18, 15 distribution substations had been restored to service, enabling 1,230 customers to regain electricity.
