On the morning of January 5th, in Hanoi, EVNGENCO1 held a conference to summarize its Party building work and business activities in 2025 and to implement tasks for 2026.
Efforts to fulfill political tasks

In 2025, EVNGENCO1 achieved a power production output of approximately 34.2 billion kWh, equivalent to about 91% of the plan. The generating units consistently maintained a high readiness status, operating safely and stably, making a significant contribution to ensuring the balance of power supply and demand in the system.
Simultaneously, EVNGENCO1 has been applying various software programs to support technical management and production operations, and is also developing a Big Data platform to manage data centrally across the entire corporation, gradually improving its management and operational capabilities.
Alongside this, the movement for technical renovation and improvement continues to spread widely among the workforce. In 2025, EVNGENCO1 will implement 1 science and technology project and 3 initiatives at the EVN level; 3 science and technology projects and 20 initiatives at the grassroots level, while also completing targets on the effective use of shared software, information security, and digital transformation, promoting renovation and creation from production practice.
Renovate governance, accelerate infrastructure development, and modernize technology.
Delivering a keynote address at the conference, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Directors of EVN, Dang Hoang An, emphasized the key directions aimed at creating a breakthrough in the development of EVNGENCO1, focusing on governance renovation, accelerating infrastructure investment, and promoting the application of technology.
Regarding investment, EVN’s leaders requested that the Corporation implement strategic, focused investments that align with national infrastructure development goals and are aligned with the overall direction.

Simultaneously, EVNGENCO1 needs to accelerate digital transformation, leverage data and new technological solutions to modernize power plants, optimize operations, improve forecasting capabilities, apply advanced maintenance technologies, increase the availability of generating units, reduce reliance on individual experience, thereby enhancing efficiency and long-term sustainability.
In particular, units need to focus on environmental protection while maintaining discipline and compliance with the law in all activities. Hydropower plants should continue to improve their disaster response capabilities and coordinate closely with local authorities and residents to ensure downstream safety.
Responding to the directives of the leaders of Vietnam Electricity Group, Mr. Nguyen Tien Khoa – Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of EVNGENCO1 – affirmed that the Corporation will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and responsibility, and implement comprehensive solutions to complete the tasks for 2026, focusing on ensuring safe, stable, and efficient operation of power plants; meeting the system's mobilization requirements; proactively ensuring sufficient fuel for power production and accelerating investment and construction according to the approved plan; continuing to promote the application of science and technology, digital transformation; protecting the environment and effectively carrying out social welfare activities and fulfilling its responsibilities to the community.
