EVN Campaigned for Donation to the Social Assistance Fund in 2016

On April 19, 2016, the Vietnam Electricity and its Trade Union issued Directive No. 107/CTLT-EVN-CDDVN on mobilizing donation for Social Assistance Fund of 2016 to timely support the employees who are in difficulties and implement humanitarian activities.

Good performance of the social security and actions for the community are the social responsibilities of the power sector employees.

Accordingly, the President and CEO of the Vietnam Electricity and the Standing Committee of the Trade Union appealed each employee to donate at least one day of wage. 40% of the amount obtained in each unit will be contributed to the Social Assistance Fund of EVN to be managed by EVN Trade Union. The remaining 60% will be contributed to the Social Assistance Fund of the unit.

Through the years, the Vietnam Electricity and its Trade Union have always coordinated to care the livelihood and employment and perform social security policies for all the employees. For the year 2015, EVN spent tens of billion Vietnamese dongs to care for employees with fatal disease and to implement Trade Union House and other general humanitarian activities.
