Reporting specifically on the implementation status of the Quang Trach I Thermal Power Plant project to date, Deputy Director of Power Project Management Board No. 2, Do Thanh Tai (far right), said that the overall progress has reached 92.93%. Of which, the design work reached 99%, the procurement work reached 98.92%, the construction and installation work reached 81.71%, and the testing and calibration work reached 4.36%.

Currently, contractors are dredging the port, access channel, installing the coal conveyor system, and manufacturing coal unloading equipment. It is expected that by August 2025, all installation work will be completed, testing begun, and the project handed over to the Investor in September 2025, meeting the coal supply schedule for Quang Trach I Plant.

The coal warehouse roof, slag dump, cooling water receiving channel, cooling water pipeline, and fresh water supply pipeline are implemented as per the general schedule. The Quang Trach I Thermal Power Plant project is still accelerating construction, striving towards the goal of synchronizing unit 1 before September 2, 2025.
