EVN Vice President Nguyen Tai Anh (left) directs Power Project Management Board No. 2 (EVNPMB2) and PECC1 to closely monitor and urge EPC contractor to accelerate progress, making up for delays caused by stormy and rainy weather toward the end of 2025.

At present, contractor is focusing on completing coal conveyor system from coal yard to boiler bunkers to prepare for coal firing. Coal import port package is ready to receive first coal shipment for commissioning activities.

Construction units commits to EVN leadership to concentrate all resources to synchronize Unit 1 by the end of January 2026.
