EVN Vice President Nguyen Tai Anh inspects construction site and extends Tet greetings to workers at Quang Trach I Thermal Power Plant project

On the morning of February 19, in Quang Tri Province, Mr. Nguyen Tai Anh, Vice President of Vietnam Electricity (EVN), inspected the construction progress of the Quang Trach I Thermal Power Plant project and extended Tet greetings to managers, engineers, workers, and experts working at the site.


According to the Power Project Management Board 2 (EVNPMB2), by the end of January 2026, the overall progress of the Quang Trach I Thermal Power Plant project had exceeded 97%, with construction and installation items largely completed. Management efforts are currently focused on the testing and technical commissioning phase, striving to synchronize Unit 1 to the national grid in February 2026. As the project enters a peak phase with numerous critical technical milestones, EVNPMB2 has directed the implementation of a continuous construction plan throughout the Tet holiday, while ensuring full compliance with shift rotations, compensatory leave policies, and care for workers’ welfare.
