EVN Vice President Ngo Son Hai works with Pha Lai Thermal Power JSC

On September 12, in Hanoi, EVN Vice President Ngo Son Hai worked with Pha Lai Thermal Power Joint Stock Company (JSC) on its operation and production management situation and environmental solutions.

Over more than 40 years, the company has produced over 153 billion kWh of electricity. However, the power production line system, especially line 1, has met many defects, so the company encountered many difficulties in operating as well as meeting new environmental standards. The company has organized incident analysis, evaluated the subjective and objective causes, and proposed the most optimal solution to avoid repeat incidents. The company also thoroughly grasps and disseminates the "Power Plant Incident Handbook" to managers and workers to improve discipline in the management and operation of power plants, avoiding repeat incidents.

At the meeting, experts on thermal power and representatives of EVN's specialized departments discussed and recommended solutions to improve operational efficiency, reduce incidents, overcome capacity decline, and improve environmental protection solutions, etc. at Pha Lai Thermal Power Plant.

EVN leaders required the company to speed up the upgrading and renovating progress of line 1 to improve equipment operation reliability and consider implementing it synchronously with clean fuel conversion according to Power Plan VIII to continue to maintain operations and ensure investment efficiency. At the same time, EVN leaders emphasized that the company needs to ensure the environment in its operations.
