Reporting at the working session, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hai - General Director of Pha Lai Thermal Power Joint Stock Company said that after more than 40 years of establishment and development, the company has generated power output of over 153 billion kWh; in the period 2016-2021 alone, it generated 30.63 billion kWh.

The company has participated in the competitive power generation market since 2012. Under the dispatching command of the National Power System Dispatch Center, the company's generation units participate in generating power in compliance with the market regulations, offering prices and adjusting capacity to increase and decrease the load of generator sets in according with dispatch orders, meeting the power output mobilized for the national grid.
Also according to Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hai, Pha Lai Thermal Power Plant plays an important role in the Northeast region's power grid in transmitting capacity and is the connection point of Hai Duong Power Plants and Mao Khe Power Plants. In addition, it is also connected to substations: 220kV Hai Duong, 500kV Pho Noi, 220kV Quang Chau, 220kV Bac Ninh, and 220kV Bac Giang. The 110kV distribution yard of Pha Lai Thermal Power Plant is an important power supply source for the provinces of Hai Duong, Bac Ninh, Bac Giang Quang Ninh, etc.
With important contributions, Pha Lai Thermal Power Joint Stock Company has been awarded many noble prizes by the Party and State: First, Second, and Third Class Labor Medals; many Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister, ministries, and branches.

In the upcoming plan, the company shall urgently implement the project to upgrade and renovate line equipment 1 to suit the requirements of the new period, meeting the regulations of Power Master Plan VIII.
