Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan welcomed HDF Energy’s cooperation initiative, highly appreciated the potential of the Renewstable® model for Vietnam’s island power systems and emphasized EVN’s readiness to support HDF in connecting with relevant technical units to conduct a detailed assessment of the model’s technical and economic feasibility. He also urged HDF to work closely with relevant stakeholders and provide comprehensive technical documentation to ensure compliance with legal regulations and alignment with Vietnam’s sustainable energy development goals.
Both sides agreed to maintain open channels of communication and cooperation in studying the feasibility of implementing the model in suitable localities.
HDF Energy is a leading energy group headquartered in France, pioneering the development of large-scale integrated hydrogen power plants. HDF’s Renewstable® solution combines solar power, battery storage, and hydrogen fuel cells to provide continuous 24/7 electricity, independent of the grid, with reduced emissions—an ideal solution for islands and remote areas with limited infrastructure. Currently, HDF Energy operates in over 30 countries, managing an investment portfolio of up to €5 billion. The group is also running the world’s first multi-megawatt PEM fuel cell manufacturing plant in Bordeaux, France.
