The DEA delegation was led by Mr. Ulrik Eversbusch – Director of Global Cooperation. Representatives of the Embassy of Denmark in Vietnam also attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on solutions to enhance the flexibility of power system operations, develop renewable energy and offshore wind power, as well as several orientations for technical cooperation. These are all areas aligned with Vietnam’s energy transition trends.

EVN holds working session with Danish Energy Agency delegation on afternoon of May 14

Speaking at the meeting, EVN Vice President Pham Le Phu highly appreciated the cooperation and support provided by Denmark to Vietnam in general and EVN in particular in the energy sector over the years. The cooperation programs have contributed to strengthening experience sharing, technical assistance, and the exchange of practical knowledge in the development and operation of a modern and sustainable power system.

Within the framework of cooperation between Vietnam and Denmark, the Danish Energy Agency and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam have implemented various activities under the Vietnam–Denmark Energy Partnership Program. Representatives of the Danish Energy Agency reaffirmed their readiness to continue sharing experience, providing technical support, and coordinating with EVN in areas of mutual interest.

Both sides agreed to maintain exchanges and coordination within the existing cooperation framework while considering suitable areas to further promote cooperation in the next phase. EVN reaffirmed its readiness to cooperate with international partners, including the Danish Energy Agency, in a practical and effective manner, in compliance with Vietnamese laws and aligned with the development orientation of the national power system.
