Trau Quy 110kV substation and its connection branch have been constructed since November 11, 2021, energized, and put into operation since November 30, 2022. The substation is built in a total area of 2,668 m2 in Trau Quy town, Gia Lam district, with a planned capacity of two 63MVA transformers, using GIS (gas-insulated switchgear) technology.
According to Mr. Hoang Minh Giang - Deputy General Director of EVNHANOI, the operation of Trau Quy 110kV substation has great significance in the stable power supply for Gia Lam district and surrounding areas. In addition, the investment in the project "Construction of Trau Quy 110kV substation and its connection branch" contributes to reducing capacity and power losses of the power grid in the area, improving power supply quality and reliability, supporting interconnection of medium voltage sources with 110kV substations. Thereby, it contributes to ensuring a stable power supply, as well as promoting socio-economic development, improving the living standards of people in Hanoi city.
