This Decree specifies a number of articles of the Electricity Law on the development of renewable energy and new energy electricity, including: Clause 4, Article 13; Clause 8, Article 20, Clause 3, Article 22; Clause 2, Article 23, Point c, Clause 2, Article 25; Clauses 5, 7, and 8, Article 26; Point b, Clause 2, Clause 5, Article 57; Clause 4, Article 28, and Clause 4, Article 29.

This Decree takes effect from March 3, 2025. Decree No. 135/2024/ND-CP dated October 22, 2024, of the Government stipulating mechanisms and policies to encourage the development of self-produced and self-consumed rooftop solar power ceases its effect from the effective date of Decree No. 58/2025/ND-CP.
