During the meeting, Vice President Vo Quang Lam commended the fruitful outcomes achieved through the cooperation between EVN and Swedish partners. He underscored the significant progress made in implementing collaborative agreements, particularly programs promoting gender equality and diversifying the workplace environment at EVN.

The partnership between EVN and NIR has been formalized under a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) effective from April 12, 2023, to April 12, 2024. This agreement emphasizes the Sweden at Work program, which has delivered positive outcomes, enhancing awareness and fostering a better working environment for EVN employees across Vietnam.

In celebration of the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Sweden, Ms. Alessandra Cornale expressed her desire to sustain and expand the collaboration. She proposed signing a new MOU to broaden the scope of the partnership. This new agreement would not only build on previous initiatives but also introduce key innovations aimed at promoting sustainable development, strengthening management and technical capacity, and adopting advanced technologies such as smart grids. Additionally, it would support the implementation of renewable energy projects and improve power transmission efficiency, enabling EVN to achieve sustainable growth and effectively address future energy challenges.
