On March 19, in Thanh Hoa, Mr. Dinh The Phuc - Member of EVN’s Board of Directors, Mr. Ngo Son Hai – EVN’s Vice President worked with Nghi Son Thermal Power Company (under Power Generation Corporation No.1) on fuel preparation, operation, and maintenance, ensuring electricity supply for the dry season in 2025.

In 2025, to prepare fuel to meet electricity demand, Nghi Son Thermal Power Company has proactively signed a coal supply contract with the quantity meeting the 2025 operation plan. The Company has also coordinated with suppliers to control coal quality and optimize fuel efficiency, contributing to safe and efficient operation.
To ensure stable generation and operation in the 2025 dry season, Nghi Son Thermal Power Company proactively carried out repairs and incident preventive measures during the 2025 Lunar New Year festival, when the power system’s load was low. During the rainy months in late 2025, the Company will continue to implement the periodic maintenance plan: Overhaul of generator set S1 and minor repair of generator set S2.
In addition, the Company has paid attention to operational management, compiled and updated operation and maintenance processes constantly and sufficiently to align with changes in technical features and control systems of the equipment, helping to improve the plant's operational performance, ensuring the equipment’s stable operation, minimizing the risk of incidents, contributing to maintaining safe and uninterrupted electricity generation.

At the meeting, the delegation members gave their opinions on solutions to improve the operational performance of Nghi Son 1 Thermal Power Plant. The EVN leadership emphasized that the Company needs to continue maintaining its achievements, improve the operational performance of the plant, and ensure safe and continuous power supply. At the same time, it is necessary to focus on optimizing processes, improving the availability and readiness of generation units, and continuing to ensure environmental work.
