EVNHANOI: Nearly 6.5 million service requests received and addressed as committed

This is an outstanding piece of information from the Conference on reviewing and assessing production and business activities in 2024 and implementing the 2025 plans of Hanoi Power Corporation (EVNHANOI) on the morning of January 9. Chairman of EVN's Board of Directors Dang Hoang An attended and gave a directive speech.

Presenting the review report at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - General Director of EVNHANOI said that in 2024 EVNHANOI focused all resources to strictly implement the instructions of the Government and Vietnam Electricity. The Corporation ensured electricity supply to serve political, national defense, and diplomatic activities in the Capital while promoting savings, restructuring, and applying digital technology to optimize costs and improve operational efficiency.

EVNHANOI's power sales in 2024 reached over 26,500 million kWh, an increase of more than 11% compared to 2023, and surpassed nearly 5% of the plan assigned by EVN. Many other important indicators such as peak capacity (Pmax) and maximum daily output (Amax) all increased compared to the previous year. The power loss rate was kept low, below 3.2%, while power supply reliability kept improving with a significant reduction in the system average interruption duration (SAIDI).

The Corporation is a pioneer in Vietnam Electricity to sign load chart shifting agreements with industrial manufacturing customers with an output of over 1 million kWh/year. The signing of agreements with 550 large customers reduced the load by 212MW during peak hours, while the participation of 3,390 customers in the non-commercial load response program saved a total capacity of 212.9MW.

EVNHANOI continued to affirm its pioneering role in digital transformation and modern technology applications, bringing an "Easy to access, easy to participate, easy to monitor" experience to customers. In 2024, more than 2.5 million customers used at least one service in the ecosystem, reaching a rate of 86.10%.

The Corporation had completed the installation of 100% electronic distance reading meters, providing all level 4 online electricity services. With nearly 6.5 million service requests received and being addressed as committed, EVNHANOI continued to improve service quality, reaching 95 points according to the World Bank's assessment.
