EVNHCMC Youth members install solar-powered lights in communes across Ho Chi Minh City

Recently, Youth Union branches under the Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVNHCMC), including Binh Chanh Power Company, Ho Chi Minh City Power Service Company, Ho Chi Minh City High Voltage Power Grid Company, Customer Care Center, and the Power Grid Project Management Board, joined forces with partner Youth Union units to carry out a series of activities in response to the movement to build an “illuminated - green - clean - beautiful - civilized” urban environment.

Accordingly, 29 solar-powered lighting sets were installed along three roads: 15 sets in Binh Chanh Commune, 10 sets in Tan Nhut Commune, and 4 sets in Binh Loi Commune.

Free electrical and lighting system repairs for policy households and local residents

In Binh Hung Hoa Commune, as part of the 2025 “Pink Holiday” volunteer campaign, the grassroots Youth Union of Binh Phu Power Company, in collaboration with the Party Cell and the Mobilization Committee of Quarter 43, Binh Hung Hoa Ward, organized a youth project serving the local community. The work included upgrading and repairing street lighting systems to ensure road safety and security, as well as trimming tree branches to maintain the safety of the power line corridor.
