At the celebration, Director of Dong Nai Hydropower company Pham Van Cuc said: Over 5 years of establishment and operation, the company has significantly developed and matured. In 2011, the company produced 256.7 million kWh and earned the revenue of VND 314 billion. By the year 2015, the company has produced 1.558 billion kWh and reached VND 2,018 billion in revenue.
The total output of power production in the recent five years reached 6.8 billion kWh, revenue reached more than VND 8,700 billion, of which the contribution for the State budget of Lam Dong and Dak Nong provinces was VND 1,017 billion including taxes and fees.

uring the recent years, the company has efficiently performed the cost savings, reduction of production costs, increase of competitiveness when participating in the electricity market, prepared and submitted for approval tariff plans in a timely manner and in conformity with the regulations of EVNGENCO1, ensuring enough capital to serve the power production, major repair and procurement from the investment development fund.
Regarding the management of the operation, during the last years, there was no fault due to subjective reasons. The availability factor of all the generating units reached over 92%, higher than the figure specified in the regulations. In 2015, based on the data of the metering system, the auxiliary consumption was 0.73 which is lower than the plan of 0.97.
According to Mr. Cuc, after given the plan of cost optimization, during two years of 2014 and 2015, the company has completed and overfulfilled the targets of cost optimization assigned by Power Generation Corporation No 1.
"In 2016, the company plan to perform the calibration testing to put 4 - 6 new hydropower plants into operation; build up reputation in the field of electrical equipment repair, increasingly competitive field“ said Mr. Cuc.

Speaking at the celebration, EVN Deputy General Director Ngo Hai Son stressed: 5-year time is not so long, but Dong Nai hydropower company has achieved encouraging results; consolidated its organization; significantly contributed to ensuring the power supply for the South. In the coming years, the demand for power in the South continues to increase, Dong Nai hydropower company keeps playing an important role in ensuring power for the South and maintaining national energy security.
On this occasion, the Dong Nai hydropower company was honored to receive the Certificate of Merit granted by the Prime Minister. The director of the company was awarded the Third class Labour Medal by President Truong Tan Sang for the outstanding achievements in construction, management, operation of Dong Nai 3 & Dong Nai 4 hydropower plants.
