In the opening speech, Mr. Pham Quoc Bao - Chairman of EVNHCMC's Member Council said that in July 2021, EVNHCMC's Member Council approved the Digital Transformation plan for the 2021-2025 period, demonstrating the commitment of EVNHCMC with Vietnam Electricity and the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City in determination to implement digital transformation. EVNHCMC aims to basically complete the digital transformation process in all operational aspects by the end of 2022.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh - General Director of EVNHCMC said, EVNHCMC aims, by the end of 2022, that electricity customers in Chi Minh City can make all requests related to services of the Power Sector anytime, anywhere; Management levels of the Sector can also monitor and supervise the operation of the power grid, operating and solving related tasks anytime - anywhere, to meet customer requirements in the fastest way, all are based on digital technology.
At the seminar, Mr. Duc Do, Director of ETLabs (Australia), an expert in digital transformation and enterprise architecture introduced the basics of Enterprise Architecture; experience in transforming businesses from traditional to digital business models by a number of large enterprises in the world, including those in the energy sector; and at the same time answering the questions of concern by the delegates. Experts from EVNHCMC introduced a presentation on 'Building an Ecosystem of Technical Management', 'Ecosystem of Business and Customer Service”.
The seminar will continue until September 24, with thematic topics: Enterprise Architecture; Digital Transformation; presentations on digital transformation in production and business activities of EVNHCMC such as: GIS-MDIS telemetry - operation management map, technology application in data collection & analysis, building IoT Gateway system, digital transformation in construction investment.
