The work "Con Dao diesel power source supplement in 2023" was implemented on 6 September 2023, the contract implementation period is 175 days (expected to be completed on 6 March 2024), but thanks to the determined efforts of EVNSPC, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Power Company, and the consortium of contractors, the work was completed 30 days ahead of schedule, supplementing 6,400kW power generation, increasing the diesel power generation capacity in the Con Dao district to 15,720kW, available capacity is about 13,000kW.

This work being put into operation will contribute to increasing operating and backup power sources for socio-economic development, providing power for social security and national defense in Con Dao district, until the completion of the underground cable project to supply the national grid to the island.
