As per the report, the generation output of hydropower plants managed by EVNGENCO 2 has exceeded the plan for the first 6 months by 41.15% due to favorable hydrological conditions and flexible dispatching. As a result, the output from coal-fired thermal power sources is lower than the planned target.
EVNGENCO 2 has fundamentally ensured the safe and reliable operation of power units. The hydropower plant operation organizations have strictly complied with regulations and processes for reservoir and inter-reservoir operation, closely following the operation mode of the dispatching center.

Specifically, the total electricity production in the first 6 months of 2022 of the whole EVNGENCO 2 achieved nearly 7.82 billion kWh, reaching 99.27% of the 6-month plan, increasing by 7.76% over the same period in 2021.
The overhaul of power plants has been completed ahead of schedule. Up to now, EVNGENCO 2 has achieved most of the economic and technical targets under the direction of EVN.
Implementing digital transformation tasks in 2022, EVNGENCO 2 has completed about 90.63% of the workload, of which the generation area accounted for 98.4%, the construction investment area reached 82.5%, and the administration area reached 90.85%.
In order to strengthen the role and enhance the responsibility of the Representative in the management of subsidiaries, EVNGENCO 2 has updated legal regulations, built an authorization contract according to EVN’s standard form, and signed with the Representatives at the subsidiaries.

Regarding the Representative appointment and management, EVN’s General Director Tran Dinh Nhan requested that EVNGENCO 2 would appoint representatives of the corporation's capital share in joint-stock companies who must be competent, accountable, "dare to do, dare to take responsibility" persons; specifically monitor, supervise and evaluate the performance of the Representative being authorized to manage the capital share, in order to improve the governance and operational efficiency of the subsidiaries.
