Quang Nam: Bringing power grid to remote areas

Quang Nam is making efforts to mobilize all resources and invest in supplying power to remote areas and ethnic minority areas in 9 mountainous districts. Since the introduction of electricity, the mountainous areas have changed dramatically and people's lives have improved.

In the socio-economic development strategy for ethnic minorities and mountainous areas, Quang Nam province always prioritizes bringing the national grid to 9 mountainous districts, especially villages, hamlets, etc., striving to realize the target of 99.8% of households using electricity by 2025.

To achieve the set targets, Quang Nam province has mobilized all resources to invest in developing the power grid, especially in the 9 mountainous districts. In recent times, the province and the Electricity sector have mobilized capital sources, focusing on investing in upgrading and constructing many new power projects in the 9 mountainous districts (Dong Giang, Tay Giang, Nam Giang, Phuoc Son, Nam Tra My, Bac Tra My, Tien Phuoc, Hiep Duc, and Nong Son).
