Of these, there are 72 projects with a total capacity of 4,128.01MW requesting temporary prices equal to 50% of the ceiling price of the price tariff according to Decision No. 21/QD-BCT dated January 7, 2023, of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT). EVN and the investor have completed price negotiations and initialed PPA contracts with 63/72 projects. MOIT has approved temporary price approval for 63 projects, with a total capacity of 3429.41MW.
As of May 23, 2024, there are 29 transitional renewable energy plants/parts with a total capacity of 1577.65MW that have completed procedures for Recognition of Commercial Operation Date (COD for short), generate commercial electricity to the grid
The accumulated electricity output of transitional renewable energy projects from COD to May 23, 2024, reached more than 2,597 billion kWh.
To date, 32 projects have been accepted by competent state management agencies for the project/part of the project, 37 projects have been granted electricity operation licenses for the whole plant/part of the plant; 41 projects have decided to extend their investment policies. There are currently 4 projects with a total capacity of 136.70MW that have not yet submitted documents for electricity price negotiation. See detailed information in the tables below:
