The Vietnamese Faith Scholarship Award Ceremony in Ninh Binh province with participation of local leaders, representatives of the Vietnamese Heart Fund - VTV and EVN
Recently, the Vietnamese Faith scholarship program has organized a scholarship award for poor students overcoming difficulty in Kim Son district, Ninh Binh province. 25 scholarships, VND 3 million per each, have been awarded to 25 students who have faced difficult circumstances and achieved excellent study records. This has ended the first period of the Vietnamese Faith program after one year accompanying and supporting students all over the country.
The Vietnamese Faith Scholarship is a social security program which has been founded by the Vietnamese Heart Fund – Vietnam Television and Vietnam Electricity (EVN), with the aim of accompanying and assisting students who face plight circumstances as well as calling the whole society to jointly help these students overcome difficulties.
The scholarship award has begun since May 20, 2016, and so far 494 poor students overcoming difficulty in many localities all over the country have received scholarships. The program has assisted more than VND 1.5 billion for poor students overcoming difficulty during the last year.
In the coming time, the program will continue pursuing the stated objectives in accompanying and supporting students with difficult situations in more localities and further cooperative assistances from the society are desirable.
