The Ministry of Industry and Trade will organize the launching ceremony of the “All people use energy efficiently and effectively and respond to Earth Hour 2026” movement, along with an Earth Hour 2026 running event and other supporting activities on March 21, 2026.

Vietnam Electricity (EVN) has requested that its affiliated units coordinate communication and outreach activities, disseminate information, and encourage employees and customers to join efforts in raising awareness of efficient energy use and participating in Earth Hour 2026.

Some notable activities include launching an online running event in response to Earth Hour 2026 for all employees and youth union members, taking place from 21 March to 11 April 2026, to spread the message of efficient energy use associated with a dynamic and modern lifestyle. Registration is available on the 84RACE platform.

Encouraging employees and customers to participate in an online contest on knowledge of safe, economical, and efficient electricity use, which will be held from 21 March to 11 April 2026 at: https://tietkiemnangluong.com.vn/.

Calling on organizations, agencies, and customers to switch off lights and unnecessary electrical equipment during the Earth Hour Lights-off Event from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM on Saturday, 28 March 2026.

Promote communication and outreach activities at customer service locations and offices of power companies throughout March 2026, encouraging employees and customers to join the Government in practicing energy conservation and responding to Earth Hour 2026.
