At the working session, the two sides discussed matters related to the implementation of the contract for gas supply from the Ca Mau – U Minh gas field to PV Power’s Ca Mau 1 & 2 Power Plants. Following their consensus, the two sides will submit the relevant agreements to the Ministry of Industry and Trade for implementation.

The Nam Du – U Minh project comprises two gas fields: Nam Du (Block 46/07) and U Minh (Block 51), located on the eastern edge of the Malay – Tho Chu Basin, offshore Vietnam. All gas sources at the gas fields will be brought into the PM3-CAA pipeline system (existing) to supply to PVN's Gas - Power - Fertilizer Complex in Ca Mau, contributing to ensuring energy supply and food security for Ca Mau province in particular, as well as the Southwest region in general.
