In the first six months of 2025, Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) ensured the safe and continuous power supply to over 4.9 million customers, with commercial electricity output reaching 13,106 million kWh (an increase of 3.21% compared to the same period last year).

On July 25, in Da Nang, EVNCPC holds its mid-year review conference to assess performance in first half and set tasks for second half of 2025

Customer-centric in approach, EVNCPC accelerated digitalization across all customer engagement and service touchpoints. Notable achievements include a cashless payment rate of 99.99%, surpassing the target by 5%, and 100% of electricity service requests processed electronically. The multi-channel customer service system, via mobile app, Zalo, email, etc., has optimized procedures, reduced labor requirements, and enhanced user experience.

EVNCPC implemented a load-shifting program involving 1,213 customers, with a potential shifted capacity of nearly 96MW. Additionally, the voluntary demand response program attracted 1,827 participants, with an adjustable potential of up to 335MW. The total electricity savings pledged by customers reached 343 million kWh. These figures reflect strong customer alignment and engagement with EVNCPC in the pursuit of efficient and sustainable power usage.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh - Party Secretary and Chairman of Board of Directors of EVNCPC - delivers directives at mid-year review and planning conference for second half of 2025

In terms of technical management, EVNCPC’s overall power loss rate was 3.55%, a reduction of 0.35% compared to the same period last year and 0.25% lower than the planned target. Key reliability indicators also showed marked improvements: SAIDI (System Average Interruption Duration Index) stood at 73.39 minutes, down over 22%; SAIFI (System Average Interruption Frequency Index) at 0.66 times, down 24.4%; and MAIFI (Momentary Average Interruption Frequency Index) at 0.24 times, down 2.05%.

EVNCPC completed the construction of 201 investment projects, achieving 38.6% of the annual plan. Six 110kV projects were energized, contributing to strengthening the transmission infrastructure, particularly in industrially strategic localities.

Building upon the positive results of the first half, EVNCPC identifies the second half of 2025 as a pivotal period for achieving breakthrough performance, aiming to fully accomplish its business, production, construction, and investment transformation objectives toward a modern, lean, and efficient model.

Mr. Ngo Tan Cu - Deputy Party Secretary and President and CEO of EVNCPC - delivers concluding remarks at mid-year review conference

EVNCPC will continue focusing on core tasks: ensuring a stable power supply to support socio-economic development and major political events; accelerating construction investment, especially 110kV grid projects; enhancing customer service digitalization and expanding multi-platform service channels. Labor safety, disaster prevention, and fire protection measures will also be strengthened, especially during the storm season at the year’s end.
